Every developer has a unique journey, and mine is no different. Unlike many others, I didn’t start with a passion for coding. In school, I wasn’t particularly interested in computers, and even in college, I chose Electronics and Communication instead of IT or Computer Science. However, life had different plans for me.

Discovering My Passion for Development

During my studies, I worked with both hardware and software. While coding for hardware, I realized something exciting—I enjoyed solving problems and making things easier. That’s when I discovered my strength: taking on challenges and continuously learning.

This realization changed everything. I understood that becoming a developer isn’t about where you start, but how determined you are to grow. If you’re willing to face challenges and keep learning, nothing is impossible.

My Growth as a Developer

I started as an intern three years ago, taking small but consistent steps toward my goal. Today, I’m a Senior Software Developer, and my journey has been filled with learning, making mistakes, and solving problems. Every challenge has been an opportunity to grow, and I continue to contribute to my profession every day.

Working at Flex Solutions

For the past year, I have been a part of Flex Solutions, and this experience has been invaluable. I’ve been working on a Next.js-based project, which has allowed me to explore and enhance my skills with various technologies. This project has pushed me to think outside the box, helping me achieve things beyond my own expectations.

Looking Ahead

My goal is simple: keep improving, embrace new experiences, learn from mistakes, and stay productive while adding value to those around me. The journey doesn’t stop here—there’s always something new to learn, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.

I started with a degree in Business Administration and worked in eCommerce for two years. However, I felt unfulfilled and wasn’t growing professionally. I decided to transition into IT to challenge myself, explore new opportunities, and enhance my skills.

Challenges as a Woman in Tech

Entering the tech field with no prior experience was tough. I had to learn everything from scratch, but through dedication, online courses, and support from my mentors at Flex Solutions, I built my confidence and overcame the challenges.

Advice for Women in Tech

Don’t be afraid to step into a new field, even without prior experience. Keep learning, stay persistent, and believe in yourself—there’s room for everyone in tech.

Beyond Work

I love learning new skills, whether in tech or creative fields like graphic design and digital art. Traveling and exploring different cultures also inspire me.

My Work at Flex Solutions

I’ve been with Flex Solutions for 2.5 years, working on multiple WordPress and Shopify projects. Transitioning into IT with no experience has been my biggest achievement, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come.

Looking Ahead

I’m grateful for the mentorship at Flex Solutions, which has helped me grow personally and professionally. I’m excited to continue learning and evolving in the IT field.

Starting my internship at Flex Solutions has been an incredible experience. From day one, I’ve had the opportunity to enhance my technical skills and collaborate with an amazing team.

My passion for frontend development grew as I saw how technology shapes the world around us. As a woman in tech, I’ve faced moments of self-doubt, but I’ve learned that confidence, continuous learning, and a strong support system make all the difference. My senior developers have guided me—not just in improving my technical skills but also in strategic problem-solving and industry best practices.

My advice to aspiring women in tech? Believe in yourself, never hesitate to speak up, and build a strong support network. The industry is evolving, and there’s a place for all of us!

At Flex Solutions, I’ve been contributing as a Frontend Developer by building UI components, optimizing website performance, and ensuring pixel-perfect designs. The welcoming and motivating work culture here has shown me that every challenge is just a stepping stone to success. I’m excited to continue learning, growing, and making an impact!

With a strong academic foundation in Computer Engineering, I chose a career in IT because of its limitless opportunities—from simplifying everyday tasks to driving innovation with AI. One of the biggest challenges I faced as a woman in tech was overcoming self-doubt, but I’ve learned that confidence and persistence are key. My guiding principle has always been: “I can and I will.” I strongly encourage more women to pursue careers in technology, especially since it offers flexibility and the ability to work remotely.

Beyond Work

Multitasking comes naturally to me, a skill that helps me balance both professional and personal growth. Outside of work, I stay active through exercise, yoga, and dance, while also exploring my creative side through painting. I’m passionate about volunteering and organizing social events. A quote that inspires me daily is: “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
