From Village Teacher to WordPress Expert and Our WordPress Lead – Daxa Narola’s Unconventional Tech Journey!

At Flex Solutions, we believe that every journey in tech is unique, shaped by challenges, perseverance, and passion. As we celebrate the spirit of Women’s Day, we take this opportunity to highlight the inspiring story of Daxa Narola, our WordPress Lead.

Her journey into the IT world shows the power of resilience, learning, and breaking barriers. These qualities not only define her path but also inspire many women who are making their mark in technology. Daxa’s story is a reminder that with determination and the right support, women can succeed in any field they choose.

A Passion for Technology, A Journey Full of Twists

Daxa’s love for computers started in 12th grade, sparking a passion that led her to pursue a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). However, despite her enthusiasm, she faced a significant challenge—her college education lacked structured coding guidance, making self-learning difficult.

Determined to enter the tech industry, she completed her degree, but due to certain circumstances, she couldn’t immediately join an IT company. Instead, she took up a teaching job at an English medium school in her village. While teaching was fulfilling, Daxa knew that her true calling lay in technology and software development.

Overcoming Challenges and Embracing WordPress

When she finally got the chance to step into the IT industry, she initially aspired to become a Laravel developer. However, the available opportunity at the time was in WordPress development. Encouraged by her manager, she took on the challenge of learning a completely new technology from scratch.

Starting with no prior WordPress experience was hard, but Daxa’s dedication, willingness to learn, and the support of mentors helped her transition smoothly. She quickly mastered WordPress development, gained hands-on experience in Gutenberg, React.js, backend development, and CodeIgniter, and became an integral part of the Flex Solutions team.

Bridging the Gap and Growing in Confidence

One of the biggest obstacles in Daxa’s journey was the career gap between graduation and entering the IT industry. After spending two to three years as a teacher, she had to refresh her technical knowledge, keep up with industry trends, and rebuild her confidence.

Another challenge was improving her English communication skills, an essential aspect of collaborating with teams and clients in the tech world. Through constant learning and practice, she overcame this barrier, proving that with effort and determination, anything is possible.
